Maya, The Birth of a Superhero was an intense experience, I grew a lot as a VFX artist in Unreal Engine. Combining the challenge of large-scale VFX with the limitations of the Meta Quest gave this project more allure than stress.
After some trial and error I landed on combining the Niagara Particle Systems with Unreal Engine Blueprints, making large, dynamic and adaptive effects without compromising performance.
This project was magnificent to work on and see Maya's story be told in a beautiful way.
